Whilst making our way across the frigid terrain of Iowa, it became clear that we needed a much needed rest stop. Luckily, we were not too far from one of Des Moines' most famous brewery/grub spots. Friendly faces fill the atmosphere at Exile Brewing Company, where every drop of their beer is brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned. Constructed in what was once a soap & cosmetics factory, Exile imbibes a distinct look that they've rightfully boasted since 2012.
